Music Programming

This is an area that is often confusing to those looking for a DJ. Many people simply don't know exactly what a DJ does as far as playing music. Here's what Music Programming entails:

Your professional DJ will discuss with you what music you would like to hear, what you don't want to hear (equally as important,) and the age range of your guests. A DJ Feel The Music DJ will take requests, but unlike a jukebox or backyard DJ we will create "sets" of music. These sets are designed to build energy and to encourage a good time. It is important to remember that a professional DJ knows from experience what will work and will try very hard at building a flow and rhythm. As a suggestion we would encourage you to work with our DJ, give them your thoughts on music. A professional DJ is most effective when they are allowed to use their experience and talent, but they will always listen to your input. Your special songs are our pleasure to play.

If you don’t want the hassles of arranging your ceremony sound system Then let us take care of it for you. We will make sure everything is played on cue and with our wireless microphones we will make sure everyone hears your “I DO” , even your guests right down the back wont feel left out. With our professional ceremony system you will be insuring everything will run smooth and everything will be properly heard. Additional microphones are available for readers, singers, harpists, or other applications. Instrumental music is also available . Prices vary based on your requirements. Karaoke

Karaoke can be lots of fun but its not for everybody. If you like the idea of adding that something extra to your “latter in the night” entertainment then this might be just what your looking for. If you do select the karaoke option then you can rest assure we will tastefully integrate it into your night and make sure its not over done. If you do select the karaoke option and decide not to go with it on the night then that is no problems, we simply leave it turned off, if at any point in your night you decide you want the karaoke to stop just let us know. Music Request system.

Weddings Music systems for the new millennium. We will ask you if you would like us to allow your guests to make music requests at your reception. Of course we use our professional experience and only play the request if it is suitable to the audience and fits in with your music tastes. Our music request system allows us to search our vast music selection by title or artist within seconds. Its just another fantastic service we offer that makes your night that little bit more special.

Lighting

DJ feel The Music packages include a Dance floor lighting setup. We have had many years of experience in lighting designing and have found the biggest concern clients express is they don’t want their reception looking like a “blue light disco”. Our wedding lighting setup is designed to give a stylish effect that complements your day core.
Dance floor lighting is only turned on when the dancing part of your reception starts. If preferred lighting doesn’t have to be used.

Digital Photos.

It seems to be a growing trend for dj’s to offer a amateur add on service taking your guests happy snaps. We do not provide this service, we believe the last thing you need is the dj to be running around harassing your guests when he/she should be doing the job they are being paid to do (play music). If you do want extra photos of your reception then we suggest supplying a disposable camera for each table. You will get a better selection and know your DJ is doing their job. If you want to go digital so you can email or make a DVD slide show of your photos then simply ask the photo lab staff to burn it to DVD. This DVD can be used in a computer or to play a slide show on most dvd players.
